BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, March 11, 2023 — Bruneian brand Boeffi International (B) SDN BHD demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility last weekend by lending a helping hand to the less fortunate communities in the Brunei-Muara district area ahead of Ramadan.
As part of Boeffi International's corporate social responsibility activities, the project aimed to alleviate the financial burden of the unfortunate community and encourage a culture of 'Sedekah' in Brunei Darussalam. This donation drive will not only assist those in need but also support less fortunate families in preparing for the coming of Ramadan.
Boeffi International's team visited and delivered essential groceries items such as canned food, sacks of rice, highly nutritious food such as vegetables and fruits, cooking ingredients and some of their essential needs such as milk formula and diapers for both adults and children to over 15 families.
During the donation drive, the team had the opportunity to lend a hand and understand the difficulties faced by each of the families, including less fortunate families, couples with many children, single mothers, disabled and senior citizens who are in dire need of assistance.
Boeffi International would like to express its gratitude to one of our collaborators, Foodlife, a non-profit organisation during the event for leading Boeffi International in delivering all of the items safely to 15 families. Foodlife has been actively involved in helping the underprivileged and needy members of society through the provision of food packs and basic needs.
Boeffi International hopes that the community will emphasise, enhance and empower the awareness of the meaning of being generous in helping underprivileged individuals and families in need. This CSR effort is a continuous program as Boeffi looks forward to organising more events, as they are committed to paying back to the community and caring for the health and wellness of society.
